Takegoshi Shoichiro Tea Set
Takegoshi Shoichiro (1927-1985) was a student of Shoza Kutani, the inventor of Kutani-yaki Shoza Kiln, and is the fourth to inherit the title of Zenpei. He also studied under Tojiro Kitade. His works were selected five times for the Nitten Exhibition, four times for the Japan Modern Crafts Exhibition, three times for the Asahi Ceramic Art Exhibition, and sic times for the Ishikawa Contemporary Art Exhibition. His works exhibited at Nitten were purchased by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
